In-Person Birth Support
Calm, Hands-On Support for the Birth You’re Preparing For
I provide limited, intentional in-person doula support for families within ~60 minutes of Monticello, MN. With over 10 years of experience supporting births, I prioritize presence, focus, and deeply connected care for every family.
Space is limited. A brief application helps us connect on values and goals.
Is This Right for You?
This support is designed for families who:

If you’re unsure whether this is the best fit, that’s okay — there are other ways to prepare and grow confident (including virtual coaching and classes) that meet you where you are.

With over a decade of experience, here’s what my clients say:
“Doula Mae (Samantha) has been our doula for two of our births now. She provides an incredible amount of support and knowledge beforehand, but during labor it’s amazing how helpful, composed, and positive she makes the experience. We will not have any more babies without her there to support us!”
— Jeff H, Minnesota Dad“I’m so happy I had Samantha on my team for my second birth. I was able to give birth the way I hoped. My husband and I appreciated how she was not only professional and knowledgeable in pain management techniques, but also kind and, most of all, super encouraging at just the right moments.”
— Ann M, Second-time Mom“Samantha has been at two of my three births; she’s everything I need in a doula and, most importantly, a support person during labor. I would highly recommend Samantha to anyone considering a doula.”
— Alyssa P, Homebirth Mom
Why Limited & Application-Based?
Over the years, I’ve seen that families do best with steady, unhurried support. By limiting my calendar to 1–2 in-person births per month, I’m able to center your experience, not just show up, but truly walk beside you with focus and clarity — drawing on 10 years of experience supporting births in homes, hospitals, and birth centers.
This also allows us to ensure we’re well aligned in values, goals, and approach before we move forward.
Returning Families: If I’ve supported your growing family before, you receive priority booking when availability allows and access to a refined support option designed for this season of life. — Let’s reconnect and build what feels aligned.
